Seasonal Energies
With each season, the cycle of life changes and so do the environmental and natural energies, with each season having a "dominant" elemental energy of the five elements.  Chinese five elements consist of:  Wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.   Each element corresponds to a season, and in Chinese ancient healing philosophy and medicine, there are five seasons - Spring, early summer, late summer, fall, and winter.
