Licensed Acupuncturist
Qigong Therapist

Char Marie graduated from Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2001. She completed a clinical internship at the University's hospital, which integrated both eastern and western medicine diagnostics and therapies.  She worked with both children, and adults in China during her internship.   In 2002, she passed the NCCAOM board certification in Acupuncture, and received her license to practice acupuncture in Connecticut in 2003. Char began studying qigong in 1997, with Master Donald Londorf, MD, L.Ac. and was certified as a qigong therapist by Grandmaster TK Shih, OMD, in 1998.

Char has taught qigong in the community for more than 10 years, in many environments.  She has shared her knowledge of qi healing and acupuncture with medical students at UCONN, participating in a "pilot program," in energy medicine and acupuncture,  physicians and physician groups in the form of lectures, and private instruction,  and the public. Her continuing education has included teaching qigong, studying energy medicine with various teachers, (including Grandmaster TK Shih for more than 13 years), and attending two scientific integrative medicine symposiums at Yale (2008 and 2010).

She is presently continuing her studies in gynecology of Chinese medicine with Giovanni Maciocia.  She continues to study qigong and energetics, as well.

Char lives and works on the beach in Milford, Connecticut, where she practices Chinese medicine and qi healing, and also teaches qi healing.   She enjoys the art of photography, especially on the beach and ocean, and has a lot of fun in her free time creating art with the help of nature, to share with others.
